Biaggini Frigoriferi

Biaggini Frigoriferi was founded in 1928. The company is situated in Cadenazzo, Switzerland and specialises in the field of commercial and industrial refrigeration.

Biaggini’s services include designing, planning, production, installation, optimisation and maintenance of cold storage facilities, supermarkets, heat recovery, air conditioning and heat pumps.

Biaggini Frigoriferi is a member of Kältering AG, the main Swiss coordinating group that unites eleven major refrigeration companies in their purchasing and selling activities.

Since 2010 the company started to use R744 with transcritical configuration in commercial installations. Today the company manages more than 50 plants built and assembled by themselves.

Biaggini Frigoriferi has been manufacturing and installing several integrated racks, which are becoming the standard for all the Swiss supermarkets. These racks are suitable for outdoor installations as well. Biaggini is designing and installing R744 reversible chillers and heat pumps as well. The company is also increasing the range of applications for CO₂ from very small installations, up to large industrial plants (more than 600 kW).
