About

The Cold Chain Innovation Hub (CCI-Hub) is the official platform for the “Global Partnership for Improving the Food Cold Chain in the Philippines” project. It serves as the project’s central ecosystem of technical resources, training, knowledge sharing and stakeholder collaboration. The Philippines’ Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) serves as the official host of the physical CCI-Hub at its Regional Training Center in Metro Manila. The goal of the “Global Partnership for Improving the Food Cold Chain in the Philippines” project is to identify, develop and stimulate the development of low-carbon, energy efficient refrigeration innovation technologies and business practices in the Philippines for use throughout the food cold chain whilst increasing food safety and security. The project has three components:

Policy and regulatory assessment on the use of low carbon and energy efficient technology within the food cold chain.
Awareness and capacity building on the use of energy efficient, climate friendly and safe alternatives in the food cold chain.
Technology transfer and establish partnerships among key stakeholders.
