With its origins as a manufacturer of tailor-made refrigeration units since 1992, compact Kältetechnik has continuously grown and expanded its manufacturing facilities to satisfy the demands of its clients.

The company has a forward-thinking strategy, keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in refrigerants and technology. They manufacture refrigeration systems for almost all applications – with all common synthetic refrigerants as well as the natural refrigerants CO₂, NH3, Propane, etc. Compact operates on about 5,700 m² production and storage area with a total of around 110 employees.

Sustainability and energy-efficiency of refrigeration systems are a very important criteria in the project consulting when it comes to finding solutions. Especially, the use of CO2  as a refrigerant (R744) has increased significantly in many applications. With the GWP of 1, all cooling requirements can be met safely, efficiently and in compliance with all the applicable standards and laws. The compact carbo-series includes a wide portfolio of CO2 units. Whether booster system, gas cooler unit, water chiller or heat pump – for many applications it‘s a perfect solution. Since 2005, several thousand CO₂ systems have successfully been in use. Therefore they offer a special training program for partners and customers to get them to the system technology, too.
